RESOURCE GUIDES

The North Coast Beginning Teacher Program has gathered into one comprehensive Resource Guide information that is an easy-to-use reference, specifically related to the various Inquiries that Support Provider/Beginning Teacher partners investigate together within our program.

The handbook has been designed to provide new and mentor teachers and administrators with information to better serve students in their classrooms and schools.

The Resource Guide is organized into four sections:

Section One: General Information
Section Two: Health and Safety in the Classroom
Section Three: English Learner
Section Four: Special Populations

Each section includes current, detailed information and resources regarding effective practices for working with California’s students. Please note that the suggestions, strategies and procedures found in this Resource Guide are not intended to replace local and district policies and/or procedures.
