North Coast Beginning Teacher Program

STARTING OUT RIGHT

There are many strategies that, if put in place early in the school year, lead to successful classrooms. This workshop provides ideas and strategies for setting up the classroom, getting started, identifying rules and procedures, the first day of school tips, and other helpful hints that will help make the start-up of the school year smooth. Each teacher will be provided materials and the book, Teach Like a Champion, written by Doug Lemov.
