APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

What is the application process?

Applicant obtains a two-page application either from the NCPTTP office or online atwww.ncbtp.org.

Applicant fills out page 1, including references and statement of teaching goal and submits page 2 “District/County Office Verification” to his/her district or county office for signature. Applicant and/or district/COE forwards both pages to NCPTTP.

What is the deadline?

There is no deadline for submitting applications, although most are submitted in the spring for inclusion in the fall program. New participants are accepted on a space-available basis.

As noted above, prior to acceptance in the program, applicants need to obtain a Certificate of Clearance through CCTC.

Upon acceptance, applicant signs the CCTC Commitment and Agreement Form and attends the next available NCPTTP cohort meeting.
