North Coast Beginning Teacher Program

PROGRAM FACILITATORS

Program Facilitators work with their County Coordinators across the region to support the full implementation of the North Coast Beginning Teacher Program.  County Coordinators and Program Facilitators are critical to the success of the program and of new teachers and support providers.  They are selected based on a high level of expertise and professional experiences and are knowledgeable about new teacher development, curriculum and instruction, and the California Standards for the Teaching Profession.  Facilitators participate in initial and ongoing professional development so as to stay current and increase their ability to support program participants to the best of their ability.
