ADVISORS

Regional Advisory Board Information

The NCBTP has made a concerted effort to establish specific linkages with P-12 organizations and county offices of education in the design of our Advisory Board. The Advisory Board includes a district superintendent from each county, a county office of education representative from each county, a combination of Human Resource personnel and Curriculum and Instruction personnel, and an IHE representative from each partner university. The Advisory Board meetings provide opportunities to collaborate and communicate regarding ways to improve services to all teachers along the Learning to Teach Continuum.

The Advisor's role is to support the program through advisement and in accordance with the NCBTP purpose and mission. The Advisory Board meets two times per year and has the responsibility for advising on policy, program implementation, evaluation and fiscal resources and for providing regular and ongoing updates, communication and information to representative co-sponsoring agencies.
