The NCBTP is a regional consortium comprised of multiple county offices of education, universities, and over 100 school districts, charter schools, and private schools throughout Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Solano and Sonoma Counties. Information for Program Participants
There are various steps to complete program enrollment with the North Coast Beginning Teacher Program. Please read carefully and return to this website for your program information.
Please note: Beginning Teachers, Interns, Paraprofessionals and Support Providers should complete each step in order by clicking on each link and following the prompts on the new page displayed.
Year 1 Beginning Teachers to complete these steps:
- Provide your contact information
- Register for your seminars
- Complete State Consent Form
- Complete the online Starting Out Right class prior to September 30th. Click here to register and your login information will be emailed to you.
Year 2 Beginning Teachers to complete these steps:
- Provide your contact information
- Register for your seminars
- You're done! (Your state consent has been transferred over)
Interns to complete these steps:
Paraprofessionals to complete these steps:
Support Provider Program Requirements:

- Register for your fall seminars
- Complete State Support Provider Consent Form
- Peer Coaching is required for all new Support Providers. Click here to register for Peer Coaching.
